Francisco Laboy III, DO has enjoyed a highly accomplished career in Osteopathic Medicine spanning over two decades. Born in the Brooklyn and raised in the Bronx, NY, he obtained his undergraduate degree from The City College of New York. Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Laboy worked as a personal trainer in NYC for seven years, gaining valuable experience in human physiology, fitness, and rehabilitation. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA during which time he also completed a one year undergraduate teaching fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT).
Following medical school, Dr. Laboy completed his residency training in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine at the Philadelphia College Of Osteopathic Medicine, where he refined his clinical skills in Musculoskeletal care and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine, at Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine Fort Lauderdale, FL specializing in the treatment of athletes.
In 2015, Dr. Laboy moved his family to Las Cruces, NM to be a part of the opening of the Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM). He served for three years as a founding faculty member and still serves as an adjunct faculty, teaching Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. As part of a BCOM initiative, to increase physician numbers in southern New Mexico, Dr. Laboy was charged with the task of starting a new residency program. He served as Program Director for the Mountainview Regional Medical Center Residency Program in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine, where for five years he helped to train a new generation of physicians.
In January of 2022, he founded New Mexico Osteopathic Medicine in Las Cruces NM, where he focuses his practice on Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, Primary Care Sports Medicine, and Regenerative therapies including interventional Orthobiologics. Dr. Laboy has dedicated his career to an integrated, patient-centered approach to healthcare utilizing both conventional and manual methods.
Dr. Laura Hintermeier is a dedicated physical therapist with experience in various healthcare settings. Since 2019, she has been committed to enhancing the lives of her patients through personalized care and innovative treatment strategies.
Dr. Hintermeier earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University, building upon a solid foundation in Exercise Science obtained from SUNY College at Brockport. Originally from Buffalo, New York, she made the bold move to New Mexico in 2020 to embark on her professional journey.
Throughout her career, Dr. Hintermeier has demonstrated versatility and proficiency across hospital, skilled nursing and outpatient settings. As a Clinical Instructor and Site Clinical Coordinator of Education at Memorial Medical Center, she imparts her knowledge and passion to the next generation of physical therapists, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Driven by a profound commitment to her patients' well-being, Dr. Hintermeier specializes in functional-based treatment approaches, empowering individuals to achieve their functional and sport-focused goals.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Hintermeier finds joy in exploring the great outdoors and engaging in a variety of sports activities. Whether it's hiking the beautiful Organ Mountains or camping under the stars, she feels refreshed by time spent outdoors.
